FYI, if anyone in your family is interested, Jacob Ramp, Philip’s father, has been listed as a Patriot Ancestor by the DAR, so any descendant can join Daughters or Sons of the American Revolution.

The spelling of her husband’s last name is incorrect in the 1860 census. It is actually McDermond. My husband is the great great grandson of John Wolf McDermond, son of Henry McDermond and Mary Ramp McDermond. Henry died on 3/13/1857 so that is why the 1860 census shows Mary living with her son, Joseph (brother of John Wolf).
